Have you seen Cars 2 yet?
My kids loved it!
and I have to admit, I did too 
We were at the OC Fair last weekend, and saw this toy car track on display at one of the vendor booths. My kids were mesmerized. I’m usually pretty selective about bringing new toys into the house, but this set seemed pretty great.
The past two days, my kids have been playing with the race track almost non-stop!
They like to set up the track in various configurations, adding tunnels, seeing which car will win (the set came with 2 battery-powered cars).
This is what they decided to do today….
CAR RACE!
My kids got great “box seats” for the race!
Notice how they lined up all the “car” observers. I even spotted Ramone and Chick Hicks in the audience! Can you find them?
I just love their imagination!
This is a good example of how watching a kids’ movie or cartoon can provide inspiration for imaginative free play.
